Didn't think Bennett answered any question about what his numbers were. He just stated that he wasn't going to talk about a hometown discount. This entire thread is about a speculation that Bennett wants $10M when he said in a recent interview that his people hadn't exchanged numbers yet, so where did this $10M come from? Someone looking at the Franchise numbers and projecting? This is like the $10M+ that supposedly ET's folks are asking for in any potential extension talks.
Until our old inside-sources post some details, I think folks are getting worked up about unfounded information. Some media slub, prompted by Tate's emotions getting the better of him on local radio and offering to give a hometown discount, now figures to make a story by asking Bennett would he take one. Since Bennett responds in a way that gets folks flying off the handle, now he is flaunting how much money he wants?

Bennett is from Louisiana, went to Texas A&M, was cut by the Hawks and has played 4 years in Tampa Bay before 1 year as a Seahawk.
