There is no need to trade anyone that is going to be released....we also may be able to pick up value, just by waiting for the cut down day on the 2nd, there is no need to trade for anything that isn't a lock to stick on the roster.
Sheldon Richardson or signing Desmond Bryant at DT for McDowell's roster spot is what we need to fill in right now...my vote is to just absorb Richardson's salary and give up the 4th rounder being discussed, while cutting either Kearse and or Jeremy Lane and going with Kasen Williams and McEvoy for Kearse's snaps.........Bennett and Avril are slowing down and need to play less snaps to be effective....Richardson/Clark/Avril and Bennett would get heat on anyone (Rodgers/Matt Ryan/Carson Palmer/Tom Brady) inside, which is really the key....
It also buys time for Naz Jones, who I believe can be that player next year taking the next step....Richardson is worth the potential headache.
