Would it have changed anything if the penalties offset and we kicked a FG? Of course not. But I don't understand why any Seahawks fan can't be like "yep, got away with one there"
The issue isn't that we won't admit getting away with one but rather the constant coverage and emphasis whenever we do get away with one vs little to no coverage for what seems like every other team.
Fact, when Seattle plays, their opponents are called for the least amount of penalties compared to any other team 2 of the last 3 years. The media loves pointing out when Seattle gets the benefit of a call but the fact is their opponents when playing Seattle are more or less the ones receiving the benefit.
