No... It's obvious that they are going to spend the least it takes in an effort to increase athleticism from the line and the center possition. "What ever it takes", would have to include free agents and high draft picks that are already good at the possition.

Look having the athleticism to get to the second level is great If they are able to get their first level assignments down first. In pass protection all athleticism does it get players who don't know what they are doing out of possition faster.

Yeah that's true. But athleticism is crucial for the zone blocking scheme. O-line guys for the Hawks have to pass the athleticism eye test (I almost said sniff test). Even if Britt doesn't end up starting at c, he'll still be great for pushing the starter and depth. None of us fans know what's really going on at the VMAC.
