Yeah, the Dawgs are one of the better teams in the country. Oregon, USC and Utah are all damn good too.
Things were improving. Not long ago, we witnessed the Crapple Cup and the Lane Kiffin era at USC. Utah was a good addition, while Colorado sucked. Now, UW, Oregon, Utah, USC, and UCLA are all good (and Colorado is getting good?). All too little, too late...

Don't misplace the blame on the teams that left, place it at the source - the Pac-12 commissioners - Larry Scott and George Kliavkoff. If Ore St and WSU want to tie themselves to a sinking ship, it's their choice but probably not a smart idea.

Well they are smart about putting a restraining order on the rest the teams wanting to leave, just seen a story where many wanted to use PAC 12 assets to facilitate their transfers to their new conferences.

Even a non-power Pac-12 with no automatic bid is a more valuable brand than the Mountain West. The desire of the traitorous 10 to dissolve the conference should make that obvious.

I owe a slight apology to UW and Oregon. Both acknowledged in writing the day they announced they would join the B1G that they knew they would have no decision making going forward in the Pac-12. As such, this news only bolsters WSU and Oregon State's case to remain the only voting conference members.

Doesn't change the fact that I think both will regret going to the B1G.

Regardless of what wsu and OSU fans want to believe. UO/UW had no path forward other than going to the big 10, if they wanted to stay relevant. Scott, George K and SC made sure if that.

Not at all. Getting out of the Pac-12 was the smart move and will prove to be the smart move.
Pac-12 was and is an absolute joke. Love the move to the Big.

They shouldn’t be hired by anyone. But at least they missed UW mugging asu wr last week.

The worst miss was their miss of Polk blatantly getting mugged, aka wrapped up by a defender a full 1-2 seconds before the ball got there.. I think it was the second quarter? Instead of first down in the red zone for UW, they had third and long and wound up getting intercepted the next play. That no-call was the most blatant error, and the most costly to either team.

PAC-12 refs have been abysmal for decades. We all thought things might improve after “glasses ref” retired. Nope.

The judge ruled in favor of OSU and WSU, though did grant a stay during the appeals process.

A state judge in Washington granted Oregon State and Washington State sole control of the Pac-12 board of directors Tuesday, issuing the ruling at a preliminary injunction hearing in Whitman County Court.

Judge Gary Libey granted a stay of the decision until Monday -- at no objection from OSU and WSU -- as the 10 schools leaving the Pac-12 following the 2023-24 school year initiate the appeals process.

The bet is the other schools just keep dragging this out in court. WSU and OSU have to move on very soon, or play 12 games against each other next year. Neither have a schedule yet, and fighting over this money is keeping them from locking a schedule in.

Also, say they win, in the long run they will lose far more. None of the other 10 will be willing to give either a payday by playing them in the OOC. Besides maybe UW vs WSU. UO v OSU still doesn’t have any movement yet. And you can bet none of tge 4 corner schools will vote in favor of adding either osu or wsu to the big 12 if they take all the money.

I was a big fan of the parody "Glasses Ref" account on X. He hasn't been active this season, so, I guess the conference is already dead to him.
