You aren’t going to win many games with 4 turnovers. The defense was bad, but they were put in some bad situations with 3 of the turnovers.
The defense gave up 28 points off of drives that didn't start with turnovers, including the first two possessions which were a complete crapfest.
Every team in the NFC has had some bad games. TB is down 31-0 at half. A lot of people had them being one of the favorites. Zona lost because their kicker was short on a 49 yard FG. NO is playing their best game of the year tonight. Pitt had to have a big comeback and had to hang on to beat DALLAS. KC almost lost to Carolina.
The Bucs have held teams to less than 25 points in six of their games this year, with three of those being less than 20. The Seahawks have given up less than 25 points twice this season, and zero under 20, and nothing close to single digits. The Seahawks have given opponents 30+ points in half their games this year.
Arizona has given up more than 30 points in three games. But they've also managed to hold teams to 10, 10, and 15 points this year.
New Orleans has only given up 30 or more points in two games this year, the ones they lost. But they've been able to hold teams under 25 half the season including tonight when they gave up only 3 points.
Pittsburgh has had one game this year where they gave up more than 25 points. They've held other teams under 20 in three of them.
The Chiefs have held other teams to 20 or less points in seven games this year.
The Seahawks "best" defensive performance was giving up 23 points. Half of their games have had 30+ scored by the other team.
The Miami and Minny games are about as close to a "good" defensive stretch as they've had (and the first half of the SF game). And that "good" is not good.
The first delusion this year was that it was just so many yards but, the points would be okay. Then it was that the run defense was top ranked. Then it was that there was lots of high scoring (yet other teams manage to have games where they actually stop the other team consistently). Then it was that points were coming in "garbage time".
This defense sucks. I'm not saying they can't turn it around, but it's a "good" week if the other team doesn't hang 30 points on them. They are going to live and die by turnovers and if Wilson is having a good week or not.
