Packers GM Brian Gutenkunst on whether or not they'll pick up Jordan Love's 5th year option:

"It's a lot of money for a guy who hasn't played. But at the same time obviously we're moving forward with him."

Lol what is that? What a vote of no-confidence. Are the Packers headed to mediocrity now or what?

I think the Hawks have more competition for next year's QB lottery than people expect.

For comparison the Browns picked up Mayfield's option and had to eat $10M of it in order to move him on. The Giants didn't pick up Jones' option and ended up tagging him at a much higher price. It's risk vs reward and the risks of Love being worth less than $20M are a lot higher than the rewards of him being worth more than $20M. I'd decline the option. He has 1 more year left on his rookie contract as a try-out season before the Packers make a final decision.
