I think the team is gonna have to rebuild before it's SB-Ready, I don't think we have that many years left with PC and JS. So yeah, 0%. The Rams were able to do a great turnaround in scoring but they also had a huge change in coaching staff, this team doesn't seem willing to do any coaching or philosophy changes. So we should expect no changes which is watching a team decline more and more until it's time to blow it up and start over.

The only team to really come into each season over the past 10-15 years with a +50% chance to make the SB has been the Pats. A lot of that has to do with the AFC East generally being some free wins for them plus BB/Brady. And even then, typically without the #1 seed they've lost. It's just really, really hard to make the SB. Can't have major injuries, can't lose stinkers at home during the season to cost HFA, can't have long slumps like the Hawks had on offense this year.

Fix the scheme on offense, jettison those who don't buy in, and continue coaching up the new defensive core should get this team back at least into the playoffs. Need to focus on winning home games again.

Think about how the 49ers missed the SB champion part 3 years in a row, losing to the eventual champs each season.

Carolina had some good teams in recent years, had a really strong team in 2015 and failed.

Atlanta snuck in last year, should have won and oh so close, but no cigar.

Baltimore put it together for one year and hasn't gotten close since.

Saints looked really good to go back in 2011, and got upended in the divisional round. Now they're possibly a threat to go back.

These are all teams that were better than the Seahawks are now, and just as good as their 2014 team.

So very hard to win SBs, I'll never take them for granted until the end of time.

The Seahawks defense and run game from 2012-2014 were pretty special. It carried the team enough to take down other strong opponents and go to the big game back to back. Wilson only had to make a handful of plays a game to win, and he was tailor made to do just that.

People may have underestimated the difficulty in doing that, and often time you win the big game with a great QB or elite run game & defense (and in both cases some lucky bounces of the ball and injury luck), the latter which doesn't last forever.
