Safety would definitely be a position to watch for a new signing. Hill seems long way off still.

Hill has looked slow footed and unsure of himself. Tyson should make the team over him even, but I'd prefer Parker in a heartbeat.

Parker has played all 3 sec spots. Started all 16 games at safety last year and had a good overall stint with the Chiefs. He's 31, but was a 4.35 guy coming out. He can still play. Depth at the very least.

Good call on Ron Parker. He was with the Seahawks as UDFA in 2011 (training camp). Hopefully they do consider him. He's a guy to pair up with McDougald. Parker can play FS, McDougald at SS. Instant upgrade to the secondary.

Saints let Kikaha go. Not sure what his health is though. Think he had his leg torn up last year and may not be healthy.

Wow if a FB of Flower’s ilk can’t stick on any roster maybe the FB position is truly dead in this league. I remember many talking this guy up as the sure thing.

If I were GM for 5 minutes, I'd sign Flowers. None of the FBs on the roster have impressed. In a predominantly run offense, not having a good blocking FB is a detriment. Flowers has good hands, plays very physically and was said to be a team leader. If we go into the year with Madden it's going to be very disappointing.

I think they need to pick up a RT from somewhere if Ifedi isn't going to be 100% next Sunday. Neither Fant or Battle looked ready for real NFL action at RT yet and it sounds like half the season until we get Jones back if then.

Shon Coleman was picked up by the 9ers for a seventh round pick. He seems like a decent RT I'm surprised we were not in on him.
Started every game for the Browns last year.
