In case any of you missed it the Lions got robbed in one of the worst calls ever. This means they now have nothing to play for next week vs Minnesota which is really bad for the Seahawks. The Lions are locked into the 3 seed basically no matter what, so they can rest starters next week. Had they won today they'd have a 30% chance at getting the first seed bye and would still play hard against Minnesota. This really really hurts us because if Minnesota wins out and the Rams win at least 1 of 2 and we only win 1 of 2 we will be eliminated. Before we could have gotten in going 1 for 2 if Minnesota lost to Detroit

I don't think Minny is going to beat GB, personally, but yeah, not the best result for us. (Honestly though, it's probably worse for the Rams if Philly beats the Cards this week.)

Detroit should have gone for point after touchdown after they were screwed.

I was saying do the kick instead.
yeah that was one of the more head scratching coaching decisions ive ever seen and it will be forgotten about because of the officiating. why the hell would he think his odds of going for 2 from the 7 are better then OT

Who cares about the refs. It made no sense to go for two there. Detroit doesnt care. They're in anyways.

Today's "performance" by the zebras makes me really question the integrity of the game as it relates to vegas. We need to go back to the days when gambling and the NFL were not in bed with each other.
It’s gotten blatantly obvious.

Sports books are advertising during games on TV, and they are advertising at stadiums via signage.

Sooner or later, some outlet will offer the right guy enough money and it will get blasted out in public.
Said “guy” may get “offed” for doing so, but the secret won’t be kept forever.

If pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and governments, are willing to do much worse than steering games for profit, then I'd imagine the NFL wouldn't bat an eye

Nothing matters at all besides winning out. We’re nearly the hottest we’ve been all year and if we can’t put together two Ws now, as cliche as it is, making the playoffs would be a travesty to the sport and we deserve absolutely jack split.
