Should have punted there under those field and weather conditions.
The deadskins mistake following the pick was calling a long developing pass play on 3rd and 5.
Should have thrown a quick slant.

Wow,m no touchdown 9 point gain to shut out WAS, 49ers. All on their FG unit that I still think isn't that great. Fox just switched to Cards/Giants, which is more lively.

Harsh weather conditions but rain happens. Teams are owned by billionaires, wouldn't it be worth it to fly the team jet somewhere where the weather really sucks and in same time zone for a couple practices?

Well, a shutout is usually one of the markers of a great defense. We'll see how it goes when they play an elite offense (Rams?), but so far they look pretty darn good, at least in terms of pass defense.

Bizarrely the 9ers probably won because they were willing to take the risk to pass *at all.*

I honestly don't think there's a single thing good or bad to takeaway from this game for either team. As I said before the game even started, winning out there today was just a matter of luck.

Hard to succeed throwing the ball in that kind of weather unless you have huge hands and an unusually strong arm. Beats the hell out of Kaepernick's game against the Bears a few years ago.

Get the wins where you can. I'm interested to see how well they end up doing down the stretch. If they're actually that good, I'm not happy, unless the Seahawks still beat them.
