Russ has always been his best on the run.

One of his worst games ever, yet he gets the game winning drive, yet again.
I'm sure the people who can't stand him were just fired up to tell us how much he sucks blah blah blah

Unless a QB is built like Cam Newton, 6'5" and 250 pounds who can take the poiunding, running QBs have short careers. Look no further than RG III.

I would only put Russ out there to run frequently like he did last Sunday, when the game is on the line. Run him only when you have to. Do it on a regular basis, and you can look forward to seeing Russ in street clothes on the sidelines, and someone like Trevor Boykin or Austin Davis or a guy named Mo taking snaps. The only ones running will be fans leaving Clink early.

Guess what. He is really really good when running and when in the pocket. Give him a freaking Oline and fire Tom Cable while we got him!

118.6 -- Wilson's passer rating on throws from inside the pocket. Not only was that the top mark among this year's group, but no quarterback in the past three seasons has posted a higher number. Wilson completed 72.8 percent of his passes, averaged 8.75 yards per attempt and tossed 31 touchdowns against seven interceptions when he stayed in the pocket. Since Week 11, the numbers are 77.8 percent, 9.90 YPA, 22 touchdowns and one interception. That equates to a passer rating of 145.1. Regardless of what happens in the playoffs, this will be one of the most important things to come out of the 2015 season for the Seahawks. When Wilson has time to sit back in the pocket, he can pick defenses apart. He's shown that ability in the past, but never at such a high level, and it's made the Seahawks extremely tough to defend. If opponents want to try to stay disciplined with their pass rushes and not allow Wilson to scramble, he's perfectly content to hang tight, survey the field and deliver on-target all game long.

Clearly Russell Wilson is at his best while scrambling. So why did he wait until that game clinching drive to run. Russ himself said at that point in the game he thought there best way to win was to start running. Well, why not try earlier? Of course the defense was more tired but so was everybody else. I'd just like to know if people in the Seahawks organization have tried to make Wilson a "NFL" type QB and suppressed his best weapon, this he's thinking about it instead of going on instinct?

They have done this since his rookie season with the Wilson rules. They don't want to expose him to unnecessary hits.

Wilson might be the one qb that can get away with it. He's very smart when he runs

Wilson is actually safer on the run than behind this oline. He never knows which way the pressure will come from, on his own he is in control of the situation himself.

OMG. You sir are smarter than both a fifth grader and bevell. Please ensure he gets the memo and abandons this scheme and gets Russ running again.
