It does seem a bit low. Really though what does it matter in the grand scheme of things? We all know who's good or bad on the field and especially when it's all on the line.

Just looking at the stats, his INT total went from five to a career-low one, his passes defended went from nine to a career-low five, and his total tackles dropped a little bit to 97. He also suffered a pretty nasty shoulder injury, so maybe going from 17 to 21 makes sense. On the other hand, he made some amazing plays against the run last year and led this defense to its 3rd consecutive scoring title. IDK, it's hard to take these rankings too seriously. Anyone in the Top 25 is pretty damn impressive in a league with more than 1,500 players.

I' m thinking that, IF the players themselves are ones who voted for the "Top 100", it becomes obvious (to me at least) that ET hadn't played against a few of the guys that did the evaluating for the top 100 players list.
I think it's pretty hard to vote for someone you'd seldom, if ever played against.
8 players in the upper half of the top 100, is a testament for how amazing job that Pete Carroll, and his Coaching Staff have done.
What's more, t's pretty hard to guesstimate the heart and desire of some of the players you add to a team, but EIGHT?, that's astounding.
With the wizardry of PC, I think there's a good chance that the Seahawks will have a couple, three more players that will be making that list in the next few Years.

It's so funny. Like, nobody wants to say anything nice about him but they all obviously know how good he is.

I agree with having J.J. Watt #1. How the hell did Wisconsin ever lose the Rose Bowl with both Watt and Russell?

"4. DeMarco Murray – Dallas Cowboys, RB"

Amazing what a year behind a dominant OL can do for perception.

That should say Philadelphia Eagles, RB now.

There was an article today that showed Murray led the league in "pre-contact" yards, going 939 yards without being touched. Justin Forsett, who also ran behind a dominant offensive line, was 2nd in pre-contact yards with 821.

Having Murray ahead of Marshawn is like picking Shaun Alexander over Marshawn. Beast Mode is simply on another level. His unprecedented number of broken tackles and yards after contact prove that definitively.

I would have had Marshawn #3 overall behind Watt and Rodgers. Ranking Murray, Brown, Luck, and Manning over him is a joke. Totally indefensible.

Watt and Wilson never played together. Watt left Wisconsin after the 2010 season to enter the 2011 Draft and Wilson only transferred there from NC State in the summer of 2011.

OK gotcha, my mistake. I remember those Wisconsin Rose Bowl teams continually losing, but I had the time frame mixed up.

Wow, Lynch at #9 was an insult. He should be top 3 and that's me the NFL fan saying that, not the diehard Seahawks fan.

A lot of RB's would have had Murray's numbers behind that beast of an OL.

Loved MJD's silent protest during the reaction segments. The entire panel was shocked Lynch was that low.

Can you imagine 'Shawn with the Cowboys OL?

It wouldn't have been fair. The first tackler on so many of Murray's runs came 5-6 yards down field. Marshawn was getting gang tackled at the LOS or before it on so many instances (I'd need the official numbers here, but I'm sure there is a big disparity).

Marshawn, Wagner, Kam and Earl were all underrated. Russ was a bit overrated (would have swapped him with Roeth). I think Sherm should have been Top 10 as well.
