Joel Iyiegbuniwe was primarily a special-teams player with the Bears. He knows new Seahawks defensive coach Sean Desai and the varied, Fangio-style 3-4 looks Seattle is going to.

Good get at a decent price. Bolsters our already top tier special teams and provides LB depth. Added to our CB additions, defensive scheme change, additions to the D Line in FA, it looks to me as though the staff has correctly identified a draft deep in our biggest need, which is O Line and outside pressure, and intends to fix that this year.
"The plan".

Looking at his athletic profile he’s compares to a less explosive Channing Tindall, a prospect I think the Seahawks would be high on to kind of fill a hybrid linebacker/safety role to help disguise Adams on his blitzes.

Interesting. Perhaps Appy is right on the Seahawks draft motives.
