The Seahawks looked good to very good on both sides of the ball. The refs are absolute crap the end.
That's exactly how I saw it too.Woblyhawk":e9y3zf77 said:I don't think the refs are bad at what they are trying to do. They are very effective at game manipulation.

And don’t expect any difference in the officiating this year. It’s what it is—moose dung. The Moore return blocking in the back was just garbage.

The refs, well, I’ve stated my take on them in the gameday threads.....
But, I think the NFL needs to have an independent outside group that grades officiating on a game by game basis.
Have extra crews on standby and when crews start accumulating bad grades they start getting suspended,
hopefully this will light a fire on officials to improve.
During said supension officials will go over their mistakes and hopefully fix their ways with certified trainers. If an individual official racks up enough bad grades they are terminated.
Oh and all of this will be public knowledge (grades, suspensions, terminations) and transparent.

Now I don’t think games are fixed by the league

But they called it "holding" didn't they? Which would make it even more egregious. But, I may have misheard it as well. Was a block in back or hold?
