Thought this statement by him might not go over well with the rest of the players in the league as he is basically diming everybody out which might make the league start testing for it harder.
If he was a Niner I would be a little irritated that he won't let it go, but obviously he isn't afraid of attention, no matter what kind it is.
What do you guys think of his statement?
I'm thinking, "What was going through your head when you decided to post this?" Were you thinking, "Yup, this is going to earn me some cred with those fans who have been critical of me." You've got to be kidding me. If you really wonder what Hawk fans think... just wait for Hawk fans to discuss it. If it's not discussed... there's your answer. Not worth discussing. So, you're purposefully attempting to be inflammatory.
Many have already chimed in and said what I'm going to say. But, here's another example. Brandon Marshall came out this last season and said that (not a quote) many players take Viagra as a PED (apparently it's not on the banned substance list?) Does that mean Marshall takes it? He didn't name names (that I'm aware of), and (in your opinion, if you're being consistent) called out many in the league. Whether it's banned or not, it's still used as a PED (which is why Marshall was talking about that... as if the Adderall thing is a joke b/c they police that but not other drugs that supposedly offer similar effects.) So, NinerLifer... are we to trust that you went to the Chicago Bears board and asked them what they thought of Brandon Marshall calling out the league? Or, did you merely zero in on your hated rival?
We LOVE Richard Sherman. We're proud and privileged to have him on our team. He really is a class act. (His teammates love him.) The media wants a diva for personal advancement reasons. They want that sort of material. That's part of the game in the media- even if it's at the expense of others. Sherman's talking isn't any different that others who talk on the field. No one likes it because he's a Seahawk. He doesn't initiate talk off the field. He answers questions about his on the field. They don't like his honest answers sometimes b/c he's a Hawk. "How dare he be confident like that? He plays for Seattle?" If he was on the Steelers or Cowboys or a media darling team... he wouldn't be receiving the negative badgering. Yes, the media sometimes claims to be his friend, but then they verbally stab him in the back when he's not in studio.
