Small crowd might have actually hurt a bit?

The small, unenthusiastic crowd made this game more like a scrimmage in an empty barn, and consequently the team seemed flat throughout. I might imagine that a howling hostile horde might have pumped up the players a bit more, here and there. Heightening the sense of a trap game, perhaps.

Not that it was the deciding factor, but I think it may be an ironic piece of the poor performance tonight.

I was at the game, the crowd was not small. Maybe a little smaller than usual but it was pretty well filled up by the time the game started. The crowd noise was definitely a factor in the o's poor performance.
