Ok...?

I was just clarifying, we only need one team to lose next week, whoever wins tonight. That's all. Not both.
BUT, do you think we can beat the Powerhouse (compared to today's Seahawks) Cardinals next week?

I wouldn't put money on it unless the spread is Seahawks(+15).

Actually, not even then.

Between the Seahawks, Saints, Bucs, Packers and Vikings now- it sure seems like a stretch to think we'd win all of those tie-breakers especially with a division record as bad as it is. Without doing all the math, does anyone know where we stand in terms of what would need to happen for us to make the playoffs now? Doesn't seem like our chances are good, in any respect.
Who cares? I know that people say if you get in the dance you have a chance, but realisticly this team is not going anywhere even if we get in.

To make the playoffs, we need to win next week and the winner of tonight's game between the Packers and Vikings needs to lose. In Week 18, the Vikings play at the Lions and the Packers play at home vs. the Bears. NFL.com rates our odds at 32%.

Division record may not matter. It's the conference record that they go by and if they win next week (which they must) then they would have 7-5 conference record which should get them the 7th seed. This is only if Minnesota loses tonight, itf the Vikings win, they could end up with a better conference record.

With the Packers up by 10 against the Vikings it looks like this season's finale is going to be a replay of the Week 18 scenario last year - with the Seahawks needing a win and a Packers loss.

If everyone loses the team that gets in at 8-9 would be the Packers.
