Sherman is not a Safety, to lanky TE's and traffic would eat him up. You need some thickness in your lower levels to absorb blocks and drive running backs backward.

Just think if they don't blow our first pick and drafted King and Grif. This team is a joke in the first round.

King only played nine games for the Packers with 28 combined tackles with no picks. So it's not like he lit it up this year, and Jones was worse. Hurt all year and played one game for the Eagles, another player everyone complained about not drafting.

btw, you don't trade down and you probably don't get Griffin. So it's not that easy to say "hey we should have just drafted <insert player> in <insert round>." A LOT of things have to fall into place just to draft one player.

I do think we draft another corner pretty high this year, so you'll get your wish with two young corners.

Kam Chancellor came in as a 5th round pick and played sparingly his first year - and in a season where we gave up 30+ points EIGHT times.

Did anyone see him turning into the player he became then?
A year around the NFL will have done these guys a world of good - not ready to anoint them the second coming of the LoB, but excited for their potential.
