He still turned down quite a large offer to stay in football which says a lot right there.
I still can't get over it, I have been a Seahawks fan since the first game and I have seen a lot of offseasons/drafts. In that time, I have never seen a draft pick have that kind of impact in his first season. Curt Warner comes to mind, but at QB we have never had a player with that level of skill and work ethic.
Wilson only needs to keep playing smart football on the runs. As long as he continues to protect himself, this kid is going to have a monster contract, with a serious bonus to keep the long term cap hit down. I am jacked that he chose football and even more glad that JS eyed him. If we don't have PC as a coach, Wilson might not have had the chance he did.
Thank you Mr. Wilson, we won't let you down as fans.
