Let's say Russ plays against Lions and wins but close. Let's just say.

That could incent Dan Campbell to attempt a reverse Stafford deal. Here, we'll give you two firsts in consecutive years and we swap quarterback contracts. Because Dan Campbell, ownership, fans are all bought in that Goff was just a bridge to get other pieces (Penei Sowell, etc.) and feel that many if not most of the pieces are in place.

That would mean we get our picks, but we also get Goff as a bridge.
