That tip catch by Brown shows you how the scales are ever so fragile. Intercept that and a decent chance the Seahawks stumble to a victory. This defense has the tools to be much better but it has had a tough time staying ahead of those scheming to defeat it.

The defense played well given how the rest of the game went. The score should have been much higher in favor of the Cards. Glad the Seahawks came back to make a game of it late, even taking the lead only to not execute and make silly mistakes. I love Pete and the team but they have never been a disciplined team just a very talented one at many positions.

Our offense is one of the most frustrating things to watch from this team. Make a bunch of penalties then punt. The team is neither a running team nor a passing team. A few teams are going through some mid-season crisis but the Seahawks version looks close to fatal. No one to blame but themselves.

This team is 8 - 8 at best. This all comes down to Russell Wilson not growing as a qb since his 2nd year, and seemingly regressing some. Maybe in the offseason he should dedicate his time to making pre-snap reads instead of playing at becoming a baseball player. That said he is far from the problem, with a dencent oline we could be a contender. This offseason Carrol and Schnieder need to fix this oline, no excuses. If they continue with the same strategy of over drafting marginal talent every few years and dumpster diving the rest that they have been then maybe it is time for a change. You cannot invest $20+ into a QB and put practice squad quality players incharge of pretecting that investment.

The defense needs to find their pride. The Pats demanned them on national television when they couldn't stop anything when they gave up a 2 score lead in the Super Bowl. They neeed to find their fire or some of them need to be gone. Then there are those like Sherman who are playing like they just got paid. If they can't get back what got them their fat contract then maybe some contract clearing is in order.

Edit: Also, the offense maybe only playing one quarter of football, maybe 2 when they are lucky needs to end. Outside of the defensive collpase it is the biggest reason we lost the SB, and the reason why the Packers should have been there and not us.

Yes Bevell needs to be fired, but if you make excuses for Russell Wilson and not him then you should ask yourself why. He is working with the same personnel Wilson is.
