Niner fans will stop bitching about it when their stadium gets loud (their new stadium is designed with the same effect).

Not even close.. for one.. the ticket prices are going to be so high that their more vocal fans will be priced out of a lot of games.. second.. that design is nothing like CenturyLink.

If anything the 49ers may have even less of an intimidating home field than they already had. And their home games were nothing to really write home about.. hell a lot of their fans are still getting loud when the offense has the ball.

Here's a link about their stadium design and how it will be louder than candlestick.

Team president Paraag Marathe said during a media tour on Wednesday that crowd noise was a factor when designing Levi’s Stadium. An NFL-high 45,000 seats are located in the lower bowl with the first row of seats approximately 10 feet off the playing surface.

Marathe said the “small footprint” of the stadium means fans will be closer to the action and their voices will be heard louder. Also, the suite tower on the west side of the stadium has just 35 rows of lower-level seats in front of it. With most of the fans located on the east side, the sound from behind the visiting sideline is expected to hit the suite tower and reverberate back to the playing field.

Nah, we still hear it, and likely always will.

Just remember that when someone says something, it's not only a reflection of whatever they're talking about....it's also a reflection of who they are and what they know.

And their tears taste delicious.

Actually no it's a reflection of their insecurity and hate means they are jealous of what we have.

I observe a totally open roof and nearly nothing for sound to bounce off of channel it towards the field. The one exception to the lack of natural architectural amplification is that noise from the 300 level should bounce off the tower of suites towards the field? Oooops, go re-up that acoustical engineering degree designers and let's try again next stadium SF!

Ya not sure where you got that info at, their stadium is a typical open air stadium design, No overhangs that i'm aware of, could be wrong..

Sorry should have rephrased, I remember reading something somewhere about their stadium being designed to somehow amplify redirect sound. NOT in the same way ours is, but there are things built in that are supposed to help. So either way, their stadium is supposed to get louder than usual. Again my hope being, that if they have a loud stadium, they'll stop bitching about us "piping in noise".
