What is going on with the Seahawks and this idiotic defense scheme they implement when they have a lead? I don't know if this is some stupid idea of KNJ or just a standard feature of ultraconservative Peteball, but whenever the Seahawks get a lead, they shift into the defense where they play incredibly soft underneath. Opposing QBs will gash them again and again and again and again for 10 yard gains, while everyone on the defense plays super deep and abandons the middle of the field. It acts a heck of a lot like a prevent defense, except they implement it quarters on end rather than in the last few minutes of a game.

This happened all last year, and now they did the same thing again today against the Titans (even in the 3rd quarter). Every time I see the 'Hawks with a lead in the second half, I start gearing up for them to start playing not to lose rather than play to win, with the predictable result they blow big leads.

I'm sick of it, and think it is an incredibly dumb idea.
