I agree about PFF and its grading methods being unreliable. A lot of their numbers don't always make sense. I like the idea of trying to measure performance objectively, rather than from a result-oriented process. But some positions are easier to grade than others. And it also matters who is doing the grading. It is one factor to take into consideration, but I doubt that anyone thinks it should be dispositive in judging a player.
