It's also pretty likely that the 1 seed will either get the NFCS champ or the Cardinals with Ryan Lindley/hobbled Drew Stanton in the divisional round

So two more wins is very very important.

Arizona may have to go on the road to Derek Anderson led Carolina in round 1, who I don't even think they'd beat.

Man, talk about crazy, if we're playing in the divisional round of the playoffs the Panthers in Seattle. Its unbelievable that after a ridiculously tough schedule this year we could have a cakewalk to the NFCCG.

The team we play has lost their next game for the last 7 or 8 weeks. Not a good stat for Philly.

What if we end with the same record as GB and Eagles. Three way tie and we lose the advantage right and you go to divisional record which Eagles could have better than us at that time

Divisional record has nothing to do with it at all, we would win via head-to-head sweep.

^so head-to-head is not thrown out if multi-way tie as many said. It often just gets nullified but if you have beaten both teams you move up. Makes sense but not how it was discussed

It's only thrown out if one of the teams has not played one of the others, Detroit does not play Seattle or Dallas this season.

The next tiebreaker goes to common opponents. That's where we have the edge on Detroit. The only team we lose to in a tie if we win out is Dallas. But don't worry guys, they will lose to Philly tonight. Book it.
Unless Philadelphia wakes up quick Dallas is going to blow them out.

Also worth mentioning.. if Arizona does beat us with Ryan Lindley at QB.. they clinch HFA (and obviously the division)

I saw that and posted in the game thread I may have been too hasty about that. It looks like it will go right to the end now. 28-24 Dallas now.

I want home field advantage, but I'm not scared of Dallas in Dallas.

The good thing is if Dallas gets the #1 seed and we get the #2 seed, Romo will choke before they get to the NFCCG and we will have home field against whoever beat them.
