I don't care about yards for a QB, but I do care about effectiveness of the offense in general, and what they rolled out week 1, ain't it.

Wilson had like a 134 QB rating for this game... Not saying that The O was like clicking on all cylinders but typically the Hawks are slow starters and it's always a building learning process...They know what they have now and it's just time to build and make adjustments just like every year... heck last year we started off 0-2... Im not worried at all not even a little Ive seen this to many times... not sure how good they are going to be yet but I just trust in the process...

Some of you are way too obsessed with stats. It's kind of pitiful. I'll take Russ' 200 over Dalton's empty 400 any day
The more frustrating thing is the absolute refusal to go with what was working. With slants, and by exploiting lanes up the middle we were moving the ball. Those plays opened up the run game, then the offensive coaching staff kept with it when it wasn't working. Teams strive to make offenses one dimensional, we did half the job for the Bengals.

The refusal to adapt and blind adherence to dogma is what is more angering. We're shackling our 30 million dollar per year man. This game should not have been as close as it was, even with the early game defensive gaffes.

You’re right. This game shouldn’t have been as close as it was. With the TOP and yardage advantage, Cincinnati should have won this game easily.

If you want someone to throw 20 times, run 4 times and hand off 21 times you might spend your money more wisely. PC has become poor at using his tools. I don’t blame Wilson though he could have ran for firsts a couple of those times but didn’t. It’s crap offense by a bad OC picked by a bad offensive HC.

Expecting Wilson to put up big numbers with that kind of pass pressure combined with running game being shut down is like asking an expensive umbrella to stop a meteor shower.

You like big passing numbers? Pete Carroll teams have given up 400 yards passing 6 times total.

We won all 6 games!!

Yep so much this. The problem is offensive coaching, playcalling, game planning.
Need to dictate to your opponent instead of waiting to see what they are going to do.

The league has adjusted to Pete Carroll and his philosophies, now it’s his turn to adjust to their adjustments.

I guess you would be happy trading Wilson for Goff then (in which case I think you're deranged)

Dalton was 104... and that Bangal D was no slouch it was a really nice test for our O line...

Not many quarterbacks could have done better with the time that the line gave him.

Seriously, who does one step drop passes?

Rest easy, though. That Cinci D Line is no slouch, and I think people were overlooking them going into the game.

That was probably the toughest line we will face all year, or at least tied for toughest line.
^^ FACTOLA ^^

Pete preaches on playing with sound fundamentals, with the successes and win % that his teams have achieved over the years, it's damned hard to argue with his "Philosophy", I say, "stay with what gets you your best results".

Yes but that’s at home. What are the stats on the road when they throw for 400 yards?

LOL!! Eat that sucker's!

Here's a question for the OP: how many YPG did HOF QB Troy Aikman throw for during his career?

Mostly everyone on here is saying RW is top 5 QB or should be in Top 20 players of NFL 2019.

I’m saying no.

Nobody going to answer my question?

Here's a hint, the most yards he ever threw for in one year was 3,445. And he only broke 3,000 yards 5 times in 12 years.

But hey, he was 6'4"... which means absolutely nothing.
