No issue with the Simpson signing kats. Never hurts to kick the tires tho doubt he does much for your team. As mentioned by several people, weed possession is a long way from wife beating. Marshawn had a wet reckless IIRC. These guys aren't saints. Wife beating however, is utterly and totally inexcusable.

The NFL players are only tested for marijuana one time per year and if marijuana shows up THAT TIME they get in trouble. If marijuana shows up in any of the random testing done during the season, it is ignored. Knowing this, I assume that most players smoke it all the way up to the point to where it won't be in their system for that ONE test.

For the OP, I don't foresee "winning" or "class" being a part of the niner organization for a while. Jerome Simpson probably BRINGS class to the niners, but will do little to encourage winning.
