It was probably YT's automated Content ID system that removed it. It scans videos for imagery and/or audio that has been flagged in other videos as copyrighted and notifies the owner of the original content, where it is then up to them if they want it blocked, tracked, muted or monetized (by forcing ads.)

Oh, please, Seahawks fans come in all shapes, sizes, and dispositions. If everyone scurried off to someplace else because they disagree and/or are disagreed with like you're implying I should do, we'd all be as insulated and moronic as Evangelicals. There's much more to football than trying to get under the skin of other football fans with the accomplishments of the players and taunting with childish insults. That's just tribal.

So why did you insult his video? Did you watch it?

The video was beautiful, it completely destroyed the "one foot further" opinion that people keep saying. It's a moral victory that shouldn't be.

And moral victories are for little league coaches.

This is very much like the pictures of the 747-800 painted to represent the Seattle 12s. The NFL grabbed those pictures because according to them use of the Seahawks emblem on the fuselage make that NFL property. I found this out by accident as I was grabbing the picture of the plane taking off from Boeing Field no problem. Then went back to get the one flying over the water front and it wasn't available as it had been grabbed by the NFL. I was able to get a copy from one of our members to use for a desktop. Really sad.

Funny isn't it, just a few years ago the NFL wanted nothing to do with fan noise except to shut it up. Now for once the league has been forced to actually do what the fans want.

We have gained somewhat tho as until recent years the NFL wanted all fan forums to disappear from the face of the earth. Now again, they have been forced to backtrack and not treat us like dog messes on their shoes.

Not for me.

As an example of what I'm talking about, check out what Doh has following the media clip of Kaepernick stating he would take his chances with Crabtree in a one on one situation "every time". I know it's cute and all to make fun of Kaepernick for this statement and the proceeding clips of Sherm making spectacular interceptions and defenses in one on one situations seem to provide a rational reason to why it would be okay to poke fun at his intelligence, but it just isn't that simple.

Kaepernick isn't making that statement about taking his chances with Crabtree "every time" because Crabtree is truly an absolute juggernaut at his position or because Sherm provides a favorable match-up to anyone (let alone Crabtree), he said it because he's a professional athlete attempting to work in tandem with other athletes to execute difficult physical feats in high pressure situations where there's no time to do anything but react. He's saying he would take a one on one situation with his team's top receiver because that's the sort of statement a person who, in order to perform his job with any kind of brilliance, has to have an ego capable of almost blindly believing and trusting in his teammate(s) and coach(es). If he doesn't have that, he's not making those split-second decisions and physical feats anywhere near the best of his ability, and he's already lost before even taking the field.

When Doh makes fun of him for this, he is misunderstanding the core motivations for the statement. In doing so, he's not unlike kids at school who are still too naive and ignorant to not make fun of the poor kid(s) because they don't know why a kid might be poor and how their poverty is out of their control. Thus, this is childish.

YouTube is headquartered in San Bruno, California. San Bruno overlooks San Francisco Bay.

Many think they censor for a purpose ...... that being to shape what we can access for their own benefit.

Silicon Valley and the Bay Area have become the "800 Pound Gorilla" they were so fond of warning everyone about a couple of decades ago. It's a heavy handed empire the rest of the world must deal with.

It's good to have alternatives. North American headquarters for Vimeo is in New York. Hopefully that will prove far enough removed from insecure California interests and minimize interference. We could all benefit from an additional alternative service with headquarters at a clearly neutral location.

Just a side note....

...I don't think it has anything to do with location.

At the end of his second year and just before his first playoff run, I put together a video of Kaepernick Highlights that was pretty popular. After about a week and 67K hits, it got banned.

I think the NFL drops the hammer pretty hard on popular players and plays.

Hahaha you're either a huge douche or a huge troll, and since trolling on an NFL team's forum is basically as easy and low-hanging-fruit as it gets, I'm gonna lean towards the former.

Throwing to Richard Sherman in that situation was an error by Kaepernick. With time left on the clock, there was no reason for him to get desparate by throwing the ball up to the best corner in the game. And there's nothing wrong with mocking a rival for doubling down on that error.

Learn to take a joke.

Bahh...Sherman is just lucky.....real lucky........I mean REALLY LUCKY :!:
Lucky, he's almost always in the right place at the right time, Lucky that he almost always reads the plays & route formations better than the opposing Receivers do, and often goads the Quarterbacks into trying to alter the play, to counter his cover skills.
Doesn't hurt to have LUCKY Earl Thomas, who often, takes away the Quarterbacks options by foiling the other Receivers routes...so the truth is, that's why Kraepper said that he'd take the one on one of Crab & Sherman any day of the week.
The cool thing is that The Immaculate Reception and The Catch were both extremely lucky plays in which the QBs involved didn't appear to have a play until bailed out. The Tip was all about skill and ability.

Here's to L

Hence Sherman's choke sign that he got flagged for. It was a REACTION. It wasn't made with thought. The thought to even throw to Crabtree against Sherman should have been ticked off his list of options back on the line. Filed under "only if I see Crabs unexpectedly break free". It was his go to throw from the snap.

Stupid.

The poster called him on how stupid the decision to throw to Crabtree was. Sherman called him on how stupid the decision to throw to Crabtree was. They lost the game because he made a stupid decision. Yet, afterwards, to remain in denial that he made a mistake. That was pure PRIDE. He had too much pride and ego to simply admit it was a bad decision, he should have looked for another receiver WHO WAS OPEN. Instead, he tries to make some fantastic claim that if only he'd thrown it a foot farther, Crabtree WAS open.

Too stupid to admit he made a mistake. Instead, he reinforces his stupidity by making the ridiculous remark "when I saw that matchup I thought we were going to win."

Did he not study tape at all on Sherman? Come on! He couldn't MAKE a stupider comment.

Very true. But you have to realize that your view on this is so different from every other opinion on this that I have heard from Seahawk fans, but not that different from the one rational Niner fan that I have shared this video with.

As others have said, the video makes an excellent point in a humorous way . That, even upon reflection, a professional level QB can't even analyze a tape and see that his decision making sucks. He is obviously letting his pride get in the way of sound analysis and judgement, and for that he and his coach deserve some ridicule and derision from the opposing fan base.
