I know people think since we are such a physical team we punish other teams so they can not recover till the next week. I will also suggest that our coaching exposes some weaknesses in other teams that are also exposed. A kinda one two punch.

Would much prefer the cards to lose against the Niners then win a wild card game, because in all likelihood they'd beat the Cowboys and so we'd probably face them again at CLink. It's like another bye.

So, since our final victory of the regular season will come against the Rams, does that mean that they need to lose the home opener next year to continue the streak?

I remember this in high school and college football. A lot of times we would play a great team and win ,then play a crappy team the next week and have a hard time and or lose. Not exactly what we are talking about here and this is the NFL but I think it is in the same area of the discussion.

I'll be curious to see if it lives on next week with AZ...
