Super Bowl XLIX Officials Announced

Referee BILL VINOVICH will lead the seven-person crew of game officials selected to work Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, February 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium, the NFL announced today.
The other members of the Super Bowl XLIX officiating crew are BILL SCHUSTER (umpire), DANA MC KENZIE (head linesman), MARK PERLMAN (line judge), BOB WAGGONER (field judge), TOM HILL (side judge), and TERRENCE MILES (back judge). Collectively, the Super Bowl XLIX officiating crew has 86 years of NFL officiating experience and 59 combined playoff game assignments.
Vinovich, in his 9th season as an NFL game official, entered the league in 2001 as a side judge and was promoted to referee in 2004. He has officiated 5 playoff games, including three divisional playoffs. He was the alternate referee for Super Bowl XLVII.

Officiated the Broncos @ Seahawks game which he gave the Seahawks seven penalties to the Broncos four.

Also officiated the Seahawks @ Eagles game which he gave the Seahawks eight penalties to the Eagles four.

Nothing too notable took place in those games for me, so I'm fine with it.

Pretty sure we are 4-0 with him since 2012. Wins against 49ers (2012), Jags (2013), Broncos and Eagles (2014).

Vinovich has called two games each for the Seahawks and Patriots this season. He called 12 penalties against the Patriots and 12 penalties against their opponents. Meanwhile, he called 15 penalties against the Seahawks and just 8 penalties against our opponents.
