When you are the rich kid on the block and the ice cream man comes a callin, you buy the poor kids a Creamsicle.

When Staten gets claimed, it means there is no way Seattle can hide defensive talent on the PS. Staten was pretty bad, and still got claimed.
Pinkins prolly next

Thank goodness we have 2 FBs on the roster. Couldn't have used any of those guys.

Remember we need to have people ready to release when Richardson and Lane get off PUP, not to mention if Kam ever comes to his senses.

I feel King over McGill was one of the weirder decisions of this off-season.

Martin and Lambert have a lot of raw talented that went underutilized this preseason.

But isn't it easier to slide someone you like to the practice squad if you release them in the middle of week 3 or 6 rather than releasing them prior to week 1 when teams are still tinkering with their roster? Nobody's gonna claim a backup fullback like Will Tukafu, but defensive backs and defensive lineman with promise are at a premium in the NFL.

Lambert's play was extremely highly rated. He made quite a few wow plays, but could never get off the 3rd team due to Carroll's love for former USC SLB Dion Bailey.

Disconcerting to see how quickly they were snapped up. Hopefully some will be rereleased so we can reacquire them for our practice squad.

I fully expect to see McGill come back in a few years on a high paying FA contract a La Michael Bennett.

McGill was a great pickup for whomever got him. That young man will have a NFL career.

We agree in full. Usually it's only partial.

Because I don't think Christine Michael is Ahmad Green? LOL.

Obum is a guy that really should have been kept. SLB looms as a concern next year with Irvin almost assuredly leaving. Obum's talent would have been more fitted for us to use him as a backup to Irvin to groom to compete next year. I do very much like Pinkins, but he's still a little light in the arse and Morgan....nothing but a ST player. When he has reps with the 1s he's a consistent problem at the edge in the run game. He's quite terrible at it. On top of that he's got a hammy issue probably for a few weeks.

This year I'm actually having a tough time with some of these decisions. Not so much in the previous 3 years.
