It’s a smaller sample for Moore than it is for most starting WRs, but that is changing.

Surprisingly, Jaron Brown is ranked 6th overall in WR DVOA. Perhaps his usage should increase?

Tyler Lockett is 2nd in WR DVOA (min. 32 passes) and 10th overall (min. 6 passes).

Jaron Brown can play. He is a luxury at this point but I would think he will need reps at some point.

Our WRs have a bit of an advantage. Our run-run-run over the top offense means that they catch longer passes than a typical dink and dunk style offense. So, while the number of catches isn't big, the yardage and average looks pretty good statistically, assuming they catch everything thrown their way like happened Sunday, they're likely to ride high in these ratings for a while. So high catch rate plus high yardage leads to high ratings.

It is still an extremely small sample size which tend to skew things like DVOA (not really his fault, he was playing behind Marshall, and Brown in an offense that is now run dominated).

So far David Moore is on the Chris Carter trajectory. All he does is catch touchdowns. That's gotta be worth a ton of DVOA love. Add the occasional deep catch and no drops. Pretty good life.

But it probably is nice for our guys when Russ gives tham a nice catchable ball over top the corner. Having a QB like Wilson will help any WR's efficiency stats.

Russ does throw a pretty long ball, and now as he gets used to how fast the WRs are he's been doing even better.

Jaron Brown being ranked 6th means these ranking don't mean anything. What does he have 4 catches for 50 yards on the year?

And a 7th round pick, along with Carson. Damn solid work by the front office. And no, it's not because they got lucky. It's because they understand how to evaluate talent. And to find talent that matches THEIR style of football.

And the Their style of football is the key, Graham didn't fit our style but did with the Saints, Collins and Ware could be argued also didn't quite fit, they need a hole to get started in to run which we didn't have here like we have now when they were on the roster. Shows just how special Beastmode was here. Just think how he would run with todays line in front of him.

Marshawn would probably get bored and actually look for some contact. He would easily put up 1500 yards and 10 plus TD's behind this line.
