He really stepped up tonight and shut down the league's best tight end.

Pleasantly surprised by his performance

King played well for sure, bui It wasn't only him. Bobby had him a lot too as well as other guys.

Props to the D coordinators for getting this decimated D to play well together.

Next man up means something again. Amazing how at worst we will tie last years record after losing so much on defense. With the offense it was addition by subtraction (coaches).

I'll be honest, I'd never even heard of him before this game. To see him come in and hold one of the best TEs to a non-factor was amazing.

Akeem King was on injured much of his time here after we picked him up, this year he has been mostly on special teams. He put a blanket on Kelce, he was a Falcon and projected as a starter there as well, his issue has been health not ability.

King was a blanket on Kelce the whole game. Great job young man!

I thought King looked pretty good. He looks like a solid tackler and he keeps the play in front of him, like Flowers.

He was great. That was the best result we could have hoped for going against Kelcie.

HE started the Bears game for us on MNF back in September.

King is 6'3" 212 -- kind of a nice sized guy to matchup with a tight end
