You have some pieces to build around.

From 2012 to 2013 they had some really good free agent signings (Bennett, Avril) to put the team over the top.

I hope we use some of our cap room to go for it next year.

Games that were entertaining from beginning to end.

Tyler Lockett.

The run game (tonight's game excluded)

Russ balled out for the most part. He was put in incredibly difficult situations often, and was still super efficient. He keeps getting better imo.

Tyler Lockett also played out of his mind. Stats alone look great (+ all of the PIs awarded), but watching it was pretty amazing.

I'll throw our TE development out there. I see Dissly and Dickson being a possible dynamite TE group.

I'll also say that Flowers impressed me.

Double digit wins during a rebuild year, a young D that will only get better, Mike Solari and the O line, Chris Carson, Tyler Lockett, Bobby Wagner, J Reed, Frank Clark, and Michael Dickson. Edit to include McDougald.

Tre Flowers
Jarran Reed
Chris Carson
The o line run blocking (other than tonight)
Bradley McDougald
Bobby Wagner, best LB in football. No missed tackles

Overall, a lot of young guys stepped up and played great, and gives us all hope going into next season. I had a blast this season

There were quiet a few bright spots from this season. Reed, Poona, Carson, BBD to name a few.
Some lights that dimmed. Griffen, I think he regressed from last season. That was a huge bummer. Also(not his fault), losing Disly early on sucked. I really liked what he was doing early on and hope he recovers fully. Most importantly proving all the doubters wrong! Good days on the horizons my fellow 12’s

In no particular order:

Chris Carson
Mike Solari
Tyler Lockett
Frank Clark
Jarran Reed
Bradley McDougald
Tre Flowers showed promise
Will Dissly, hopefully he can bounce back.
Nick Vannett improved I thought.
And of course, Bobby and Russell.

Don't forget Vannett, he's a really good blocker.

Schotty and Solari, they both have improved our offense, next season I think we see more of the improvement in the passing game as well, remember most of this offense was 70 percent of last years, Schotty was a student of Coryells offense, he knows how to help the passing game.

This was the first year I saw Russ work the pocket like an elite QB also. This is attributed to Schotty.

Positives....?

I'm positive Schotty sucks.

That said, our OL looked leagues better this year.

We won 2 more games than I expected though mostly because the teams on our schedule were worse than projected.

10-6 doesn't matter if you don't do anything in the playoffs though.

Pity you would rather run over the Flowers then take time to look at them let alone smell them, there are so many positives this season to build on for next year.

Maybe bringing back Cable and Bevell as well as Sherman and a disgruntled Thomas will jog your memory of the direction we were heading last year.
