No Nickel and depth at Safety hurt us all season, that needs to be corrected. Flowers disappointed today, he is not ready to be on an island and a Nickel and a good FS when Diggs isn't in helps him, Griffin as well.

Anyone actually know why Hill was even in at the end? Was Diggs out?

I had our secondary being our most compromised area from the beginning. I think Shaq has improved and getting Diggs was huge. Need to improve at what you stated for sure. I think Blair will be good next year but we need help at CB.

They are learning..it is a rebuild year....let it be one.

Good thing we drafted hill, thompson and Tyson and missed on all of them

I think Diggs was in but playing deep, at least he was on the “I’m jimmy” play.

CBs are coveted.

Frankly, we got lucky on Griffin.

But the reason we have a converted safety playing #2 corner is because corners are pricey in terms of draft capital, and they hard to project success on. Even then, what is success? Xavier Rhodes was a stud in college, but he struggled for a while with the Vikings.

We have to hope to find a great corner in the draft that everyone overlooked. However, hope is not generally a consistently winning strategy.

Everyone wants a corner. Even the Vikings need one when they don't resign Rhodes. You cannot just 'get' a great corner to fix the hole, especially at #27 (worse considering our 1st round picks are usually not that impressive). Almost every team had a better corner on their wish list right now.
