5 passes, 5 picks, I thought that guy was number three in Oakland.

As little as this guy has been on the field, it's really all we got.

The other day he threw 5 TDs but everyone said it's just practice

The pit
For a guy that someone in this thread claimed had “no fatal flaws” last year, he sure seems to have quite a few fatal flaws.
Got a feeling “eventually” the Niners #2 guy (his name escapes me at the moment) will be their long term starter.

I like Mullens, just wish his passes on out routes had more velocity.

Mullen's reminds me of Jeff Garcia; he's got everything but the arm. I'm standing by my off season prediction that he's the best QB in Santa Clara.

Jimmy G has practically the same stats as Mullen's in a similar number of games in San Fran, he's older, and more expensive. I hope for the Seahawk's sake they hold on to Jimmy for as long as they can. The last thing we need is three solid young QB's on cheap contracts in the division.

Bad news for all our brethren down in Santa Clara: Mullens is clearly the better QB, but he won't get you a Super Bowl any more than Jimmy G will.

The Hoodie fleeces another.

Seahawks fans crack me up sometimes.

The ONLY reason 'hawks fans say Mullens is better is that you've never faced Jimmy and Mullens was the guy who beat you last year. That's it.

I mean seriously, when we base any judgement whatsoever on stats coming out of practice with zero contextual information and those stats make national news we've jumped the shark of football fandom.

Garoppolo has had a great camp up until that stretch and he finished that session with a TD. Who cares? Its practice. We won't know anything until live bullets are firing.

Richard Sherman has looked like his old self. Bosa and Ford have looked awesome. Who cares? If I told you that Bosa had three sacks in an 11 on 11 period (which has happened), the first response would be "yeah, but its just practice".

I like Mullens BTW, but this is Jimmy Gs team.

I got my fix. The Marvin spin fix. I was starting to worry. 8)

Pleasure to oblige.

I'll be concerned when he throws 5 INTs in a game.

In all seriousness though, I kinda think he's gonna be one of those gunslinger type guys and he's gonna throw more picks than you'd like if yer a Niner fan, but he'll also make some plays few can. He will throw into some pretty tight windows.

The three questions about JGQ haven't changed:

(1) Health
(2) Decision making
(3) Deep ball accuracy outside the numbers

The three promises about JGQ haven't changed:

(1) Quick release
(2) Ability to throw from different platforms with accuracy and velocity.
(3) Good short and intermediate accuracy.

Him throwing a bunch of picks in one practice and a bunch of TDs in another practice does nothing to change any of this.
