That may be the only franchise that's had as inept QBs as our Seahawks. Fortunately Wilson counters (the great) Otto Graham, Hass counters Bernie and Zorn counters Sipe or they would be still better than us in this respect.

They haven't learned from the past have they?

Nope.
Not one thing.

Here's to hoping they offer up their entire draft for the number 2 pick.

There's nothing wrong with drafting two QB's in this draft.. especially if one of those guys is Johnny Manziel. The way Manziel plays, you should probably have a good backup in the likely event he gets hurt. The Browns also have 10 picks this year. Not like they're sitting on 4 picks or something.

Hasselbeck = Bernie Kosar. Yep, I can see the comparison 100%.

I don't see anything wrong with taking two QB's, who knows if that other QB develops the right way, they could use him as a piece to build around the franchise guy.

Dallas drafted Aikman and Steve (?) Walsh the same year. Pretty sure Walsh was in the supplemental or something like that.

QBs currently on the Browns' roster:

Tanney, Alex QB ACT 6'4" 220 11/11/1987 2 Monmouth (Ill.)
Hoyer, Brian QB ACT 6'2" 215 10/13/1985 6 Michigan State

They need two QBs.

It's not a bad idea. I fail to see how this is different than giving Matt Flynn a $26 million contract and then drafting Russell Wilson.

Competition can motivate a great prospect to become a great QB, but first you have to find that great QB. The Jets problem was that none of the QBs they selected (Tebow, Smith, Sanchez, etc.) were very good.
