It irritates me that these three losses mean that Fox and Belichick have slipped ahead of Carroll in the last 34 games.
You're either competing or you're not. You're either getting better or you're getting worse. The Harvin trade was a tough pill to swallow. Losing Clemons, Bryant, Tate, McDonald, Thurmond, and Browner were tough pills to swallow. There may have been some arrogance in the FO to think they had enough weapons in their arsenal that they could lose all these players, and not add anyone except Williams and a few draft picks, and still improve as a team.
