Hes a guy that loves the attention of the camera..he won't get much of that here.

Every game is broadcast by a major network. Why wouldn't the cameras of CBS and FOX cut to Harbaugh on the sidelines as much as they would if he coached a different team?

Jody has finally seen the light and now has an opportunity to become one of the best owners in the league with this move.

The Pete Carroll era basically ended in 2017. This move was loooooonnnnggg over due. 2019 he got outclassed by Jason Garrett and should've started the reset right there, but PA was gravely ill by then. So it didn't happen.

Hopefully they don't take Pete's advice on how to build a defense. I'd like to see that start to get fixed, finally.

The Seahawks need a coach who can develop a QB and calls plays. With a veteran DC that knows his stuff and has had success in the modern NFL to compliment him.

Quinn would be a fine alternative. But you risk losing your OC, and having to start over on offense if that guy has success. Exactly what happened to him in ATL.

QBs and O-Lines generally suffer under Defensive HCs.

The Seahawks can finally move forward as a franchise, and I can't wait to see who they hire!

Hes not gonna be the center of attention on First Take etc. Like I said I expect a bigger market or more popular city.

Exactly! He has been able to keep this team competitive, getting in the playoffs last year when everybody expected it to be a rebuild year. Those of you that are celebrating, buyer beware.
whatever will we do without our league worst defense 6 years in a row?

This is great news. It was obviously time, and it also shows that Jody is more hands on than we realized. Good for her and the Seahawks, being proactive and honoring Pete at the same time. He was the best coach we ever had. I wish him well.

So now we will probably be stinky for the next couple of seasons at least. I am fine with that as we now have the chance to actually be legit contenders in the next few years. So much better than constant mediocity.

I guess I just don't see this. Harbaugh has been successful in every head coach job he's had. If there is one thing in common with other coaches that have a similar resume, it's that they are obsessed with winning. Winning is everything to them. Coaches that care about attention tend to lose and be out of the league(s) quickly.
