If the shedding of salary continues due to the roster limit of 80, I expect to see Jacob Hollister released soon. TE is a spot they have a lot of bodies - Olsen, Dissly, Willson, and plethora of draft picks, and they could use his $3M+ salary off the books for other areas.

As a tendered restricted free agent, Jackson was set to make a little over $2.1 million this year but cutting him would leave no dead money at all. --- [urltargetblank]https://www.fieldgulls.com/2020/7/26/21339424/report-seattle-seahawks-release-defensive-end-branden-jackson-nfl-news[/urltargetblank]

Just speculating . What happens if Dissly pulls up lame again ? Olsen better have a banner year . Keep Hollister just in case . IMO
That's great, but some D-bag on Youtube is saying Hawks have like 6 mil in cap space. It's on that stupid podcast hawkblogger or something like that. There is one dude on there who thinks he is a cap specialist and is always talking about In-N-Out burgers and drinking wine swirling it around in the glass. I can not stand that dude at all.Shanegotyou11":178y1dci said:He is a DE and we now have 16 million in cap.

Well put Jackson was a good hard working depth guy. I hope he does well wherever he lands.olyfan63":3qd918er said:GOODBYE BRANDEN JACKSON, HELLO JADAVEON CLOWNEY!
Obviously Jackson was released to make roster and salary cap room for Clowney to return!
</Kidding... maybe>
Either way, best wishes to BJack, thank you for your service here, and as others have said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in a Seahawks uni.
