Did a certain scheme make the LOB great?

The LOB didn't really take off until the arrival of Avril and Bennett.

I don't care how good your DB's are if you have no pass rush.

along with LB's that can tackle their RB's for loss of yardage or short gain.

oh and chancellor was a football genius, with instant pattern recognition of the offensive intentions.

I can't say that Chancellor was a football genius but when you have good DL and LB and decent corner's, the safety's can pick their spots and give more cushion.
