The excuse is we were banged up and couldn't match the Rams preparation, execution and intensity.
That's what happens when you play a very talented and well coached team that's hitting on all cylinders and playing for their playoff lives...........and you can't match their execution and intensity with drops and critical mistakes.
If history is any indicator, we should rebound, win the next two games and have the #1 or #2 seed within reach going into week 16.
If not and we look lethargic, injured and ill prepared again Sunday? Well then, that's an entirely different conversation we're having Monday.
But I don't expect that.
