Rams are all in for 2021. However, they have no depth. If the injury bugs bites them even half as bad as it bit the 9ers this past season, the Rams are toast.

True, but I think any team would be toast with the hellish injury bug the Niners had last season.

To the Rams credit, they do seem to get the most out of role players and nameless backups, so they may be better than most teams if they end up getting unlucky.

We usually end up with 7-10 draft picks each year even with out a first rounder.

Well get at least two comp picks this year.

All dead money is off the books after 2021 - IMO this is less "going all in" than 2018, and a few years later here we are after that was supposedly going all in.

IMO the lack of first round picks won't hurt as long as the players we acquire work out. If for some reason Stafford is as bad as Goff, we'll be screwed. But Goff had an argument for worst starting QB in the NFL last year, so I don't see that happening.

Imagine if instead of the Seahawks trading for Harvin and Graham they packaged those two firsts somehow for Julio Jones years ago. That's essentially what we did with Ramsey. Had zero chance of those two firsts being as good as Ramsey combined. People just have an over-fondness for first round picks

You got it twisted. Imagine if Seattle would've kept those picks and drafted league average with them. Saved cap space, and kept even more of their core intact.

It will make more sense to you in 2 years. Ramsey & Donald will be on the decline, LT is long retired, Stafford will be entering his age 36 season. No 1st round picks to fill these important positions, no cap space either, no longer have the assets necessary to make the big time trades to plug these holes either. They maxed the credit card. Enjoy the next 2 years. They will need amazing drafts in 2021 & 2022 to sustain. Not good, AMAZING.
