Interesting. The picks we got back wouldn't have been as high, but we'd probably have acquired one of the league's best young QBs in Hurts.

Likely nixed because he wanted to see what he could do with Rodger's coordinator, rather than go to a system where they likely saw him as a better version of the running / throwing qb they already had.

Soooo many bad decisions leading up to and including his decision to leave the house and burn it down behind him.

But hey, Maybe he'll throw for 5000 yards , 40 tds and 5 picks under Peyton and finally get that MVP award... or that elusive single vote. That would make it all worth it for him.

Here the thing: Would Eagles expend that contract, that quarter of a billion dollar contract extension, before he play a game? Wilson value $$$ more than football matters, his agent might negotiated contract extension before his trade to Broncos! Eagles? smarter GM and all, might not agree to that.
