Before Russell Wilson

Seahawks win 10+ games 5 times in 36 years.

With Russell Wilson

Seahawks win 10+ games 4 times in 4 years

Enjoy these days, young padawans... A lot of us here lived and died through every one of those previous 36 years.

Great stuff! He's a keeper, for now, whom I hope will someday be a worthy franchise QB.

I can definitely empathize with Hawk fans who have lived through the rough years. But I also don't think these stats can be emphasized enough.

Beat me to it. Somewhere Roland is very proud.

I read that in my best Mike Tyson voice.

Stand by, folks, the rest of those records are gonna fall too--both NFL and Seahawks.

Hmm, so what you're saying is, that it's most fans of other teams that are selling him................short
What I'm getting a kick out of, is there are still Seahawks fans around, that believe that his success thus far, is because of the Coaching, and that all his missteps are all on him.
The more I read about Russell Wilson's Football career, the more I realize that he was playing lights out, Years before he was even Drafted by the Seahawks, and has been trending UPWARDS from the very get-go.........AND HE'S A SEAHAWK :0190l:

Anyone who oversimplifies both his success or his failure by praising or blaming any one single feature--RW's stature or backfield Ninja-skills, Bevell's playcalling, the O-Line, opposing D gameplan, etc.--is simply setting themselves up for justified ridicule.

Football is a complex team sport. RW has made his mistakes, but he is one of the most hardworking, athletic, focused football players on the field, so more often he's been the catalyst for success and is a huge reason we're where we are right now.

I expect to see him continue to break records; he'll be in Canton, no doubt, and I hope he has the highest QB rating ever when he gets enshrined.

You forgot to mention that WIlson also beat Aaron Rodgers in every stat this year besides passing attempts.

Who was that Packer fan that said that Aaron Rodgers make his receivers looked good and has never had an off day, well he really had one against the Cards, and a bad stretch of games. I think Jordie Nelson made Aaron Rodgers look good.

Just to think about it, if Wilson and the OL (mostly the OL) hadn't had an off day vs. the Rams, it was possible that Wilson could've thrown for 3 + TD's in 7 straight games.

All this in a "run first" offense that limits his reps. This is Pete's vision of a balanced offense in almost perfection.

The record that I believe will stand forever is that he will be the shortest QB to reach all those stats listed up above.
