They quite obviously don't want to keep America's team from climbing in the playoff standings. Keep it close and entertaining, but don't allow the Hawks to win. Ok, got it.

Is that why the Cowboys have had so much success the last 27 years?
This year is different. There's a lot of talk about Dak for MVP. Need his jersey to sell.

Plus big matchup for them vs the Eagles on SNF... need to keep their records close and competitive. Need that viewership and tv ratings. $$

You don't think the Rams were "helped" in their SB year? Needed to build up that LA fanbase/market and bring in some revenues. $$

So by that logic did they “help” the Hawks win their SB? Or was it legit?

This shit is absolutely insane. Almost all of their 1st downs were penalties that drive. They didn't even really move the ball themselves
3rd game that opponents drive(s) have been COMPLETELY driven by penalties against us this year - like start to finish on the drive.

We grind down the field. They prance along on phantom yards.

Barf.

I love this dude. Even if he's a bronco's fan.

I want two BIG changes in passing rules:

1. No more Calvin Johnson rule. If you catch the ball with both feet inbounds, that is a catch. End of story. For you younger guys, that was the rule 50 years ago. For example, JSN caught the TD pass. He had the ball firmly in hands before he hit the ground, and they took 5 minutes to determine the ball moved one inch.

2. It’s only pass interference if the defender interfered with the receiver catching the ball. The way refs operate, you can’t touch the receiver with your little finger or they drop flag, depending on how they are feeling — lots of random variance among refs on this. There was WAY too much of this stuff last night.
