-Re-sign Jefferson to a 3 year, 32 mill year deal. He will be an undeniable part of our future

-Re-sign Reed to a 1 year prove-it deal of 9 mil (considering the FA market of DT's and his time here)

-Re-sign M. Lynch on a short extension for 5< yards when Carson can't get it done in the first 2 downs.

-Re-sign Irvin for situational pass rushing duties

-Re-sign Clowney for <$20 mil/ year...minimum 3 years.

-Draft a new WR/TE in the first 3 rounds along with an Offensive Lineman no matter what, in any order.

Yes, and no. This is a perfect "Prove it" situation. Did he out-perform Jefferson this year despite his suspension?

Reed showed this last season that he isn't an interior pass rusher, which is what we really need. A very good run stopper, but not a guy who will disrupt an opposing team's game plan. We do have Poona for that and could bring back Al Wood for a decent one year contract. We also have Mone who may be another run stopper going forward.

Reed is probably wanting a 3T game wrecker contract, or something very close to it. I don't see him getting it with us,or anywhere for that matter.

Jefferson has shown some ability to penetrate the pocket and is versatile playing several spots on the line. Right now that makes him more valuable.

He (Jefferson) isn't getting $10M a year with anyone, but a $5-6M per year contract is very likely and doable for us.

Reed not convinced on reed at all would prefer someone ....better

No to lynch, there are better options. IF we did and all he did was 3rd down we would be showing what we are doing not a good idea. The real answer is not run on 1st and 2nd every series but mix it up.
