Wish we would have grabbed him. Oh well. Great draft.

they should draft one of the QBs. finding a QB is tough and hoping for one next year isn't a strategy. Take a bite of the apple this year and if it works out, Great! Don't need to worry next year. If it doesn't work out, cut bait and try again next year.

Isn't that what everyone said about a certain russel wilson?

No, that's not what people were saying. They were arguing he was too short. That was all. His game was fantastic.

The draft announcers debating it had to listen to Gruden tell them it was only a matter of an inch between RW and Drew Brees, but the quality was similar.

Russell Wilson was an incredibly accomplished college qb in 2 major programs. Willis is a mistake prone raw qb from a small school. No comparison whatsoever.
Lol , seabowl you are right but I remember when RW was drafted you said something like he was the worst QB ever. Lol I even remember someone even made your post their signature. I am happy you came around to RW.

And for the guy who said everyone was down on RW, it was mostly the media talking heads that were down. Gave that draft a F.

To me just say NO! Please no QB except maybe late in the 3rd. Perhaps not, but maybe Mayfield on day 3. If the Browns eat most of his salary.

Build the team with these day 2 picks, draft a DE, a LB add another OT, and trade down a bit to pick up more picks.

If the Seahawks pick a QB earlier than the 5th round, I'll be severely disappointed. Why pay for a well done burger this year when we can have filet mignon next year?!? I feel like I'm the only one being rational here with this mindset...Draft EVERYTHING ELSE BUT QB this year, next year we can trade the farm for our generational QB of the future...

I know it might be hard to fathom wasting a year away, and I'm not saying let's tank the season, but let's not waste a high pick on a QB this year when there are better QB's next year and we can fill a lot more needs this year that "take time to develop" and/or build chemistry with the team so we can be ahead of the curve...?

I dont believe Seahawks can surpass teams like Houston or Lions in next years draft. Which means they will not get a top 2 QB next year. If they like any of this years prospects, they should go and get him as there will not be a better chance next year, meaning the available prospects will also be the same caliber as these ones that are available now.

Malik Willis has been compared to Trey Lance as a raw prospect who needs time to develop. He could easily sit one season behind Lock and be more ready next year than any 2023 rookie. Niners gave a ton for Lance. Willis would be almost free now compared to that.

If they don’t like Willis, Corral or Howell could do the same and one of the will probably be available at 40.
