Just because Frank Clark bolted to the Chiefs when his "market" kept John from keeping him around...he wore #55 quite well while we had him.

This guy: 11 seasons with us, and held the tackling record until our current Bobby W. broke it.
UDFA in 1985 he went on to play 5 more seasons after leaving us. 16 seasons as a Safety is pretty darn impressive IMO. He played 2 seasons with the Packers (SB ring)
2 Seasons with the Falcons (pro Bowl 15th season) crazy stat. 1 season with the Panthers, and then went on to be their radio color guy for 15-16 years.

How is he not a HALL of Fame member?

#41 Eugene Robinson

The Warren and Robinson pics just remind me how I wish the throwbacks would incorporate sleeves to make room for those BIG beautiful stripes and sleeve Hawks!

#40 is another number we never got much production out of.
In fact only one guy ever wore it for more than one season.

I had already made my choice before looking him up, and I had forgotten the bit of trouble he got in while with us.
I was going to change my pick but the reality is, I don’t have much recollection of the other guys.

#40 Derrick Coleman
For those not aware, an interesting fact is he’s deaf.

My personal favorite Seahawk while growing up. Shaun Alexander.

I know he's a controversial player on these forums so please don't turn this into a debate session. But at 37 days away from kickoff, I'll always appreciate Shaun for the time he spent here. Many great memories of talking with him at training camp, as well as the amazing performances he had as a player in blue and green.

When he was still a rookie making a name for himself, he came to the Spokane Arena and spoke to a bunch of us kids about following your dreams, having self confidence and ignoring bullies. Not too many of the kids knew who he was then but it was a memorable experience for me.

Alexander the Great
